This is a beautiful bedspread! I love the simplicity of the pattern on the pink 'homespun' cotton. The background is a bit heavier than the usual chenille spread, which is why it is referred to as 'homespun.' There is a little bit of damage in evidence on this bedspread, which is why the price is as low as it is. There are two spots where, in bright light only, a slight dicoloration could be seen. Each spot is only two or three inches long. I have sewn a handcrocheted doilie in the center, to act as the focus of the medallion area, to cover another faint spot. There is a tiny white repair at the top in the pillow area. This is a spread I would be proud to put on my own bed. Great quality and unusual design. |
