These bowls were made by my friend Linda. She wrapped chenille strips around clothesline, then I think she used a seperate piece to weave two rows together at a time. I know she used a needle and thread to secure the ends evey now and then. The dark purple bowl was hand-dyed after it was completed. Linda also wove a new seat for a rocking chair for me. The clothesline was wrapped with white chenille and she worked directly on the frame of the chair. I will try to post a photo of it shortly. |
