This jacket is made from a lightweight linen tablecloth with a wide band of a pale gold at the edge. The jacquard weave of the fabric is so rich in detail. I love the tone-on-tone weaving of jacquards, or damasks, as they are sometimes known. I have added hand-crocheted panels to the front of this jacket, for added dimension. The colors are wonderfuuly subtle, with the plae gold complimenting the ecrus of the tablecloth and the crochet. There are hidden side pockets.
